One of the best lighthouses we've been to! 4 different buildings to go through. We were impressed with the living quarters and the history! The history of the autos that were on the ship that ran aground was really interesting!!! Definitely worth a stop 😘
Really impressive place with lots of things for the kids to do. Would highly recommend it for families with kids.
Visiting Eagle Harbor Lighthouse was one of the highlights of our Keewenaw vacation. Our kids loved the scavenger hunt (with a prize at the end), my wife and I loved the history and scenery, and everyone we encounter was kind and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone coming through the area.
Beautiful Light house situated on bluffs overlooking Lake Superior. I loved learning about the history of the ships and voyages of Lake Superior. The kids scavenger hunt was also neat!
Cute lighthouse with scenic views. It’s free to walk around, but costs to get into the lighthouse itself. Makes you feel like you’re on the east coast.
Nice small museums for lighthouse, keeper's home, a fishing museum.. worth a stop if you are in the area. Beautiful lake views
They allow pets! So this place gets five stars from me! Dogs are not allowed inside any of the buildings, but they are allowed on the grounds, which made us so happy! Remember, always clean up after your pets, so we can keep going to places like this! There are some beautiful views from these grounds! We came on a day when the tours were open, so my husband held the dogs and I went through all the buildings. What a beautiful place! There is so much history here. Really, take your time when you are reading, and walking around here. There is so much to learn and see!
We visited on National Lighthouse day and got free ice cream! Your admission includes 4 different buildings.
